Hershberger's Farm and Bakery

Location: 5452 Ohio 557, Millersburg, OH 44654

Hershberger's came up on a tripadvisor.com search as highly recommended. We really enjoyed visiting this place. It was right down the street from our "treehouse". One thing I learned while visiting Amish Country is that most attractions close typically around 6 pm in the fall season. Because we got a later start, we ran out of time and didn't get to explore all of what Hershberger's has to offer. We still got to enjoy quite a bit, as you will see below.

By the time we got to Hershberger's we were pretty hungry. There is a food truck located on the property which was quick and convenient. We split the large Hershberger which is made up of both a burger patty and trail bologna. May have been the best burger I ever had!

Hershbergers is the perfect place to pick up a pumpkin! We got a kick out of the HUGE pumpkins above. Price tag on the massive pumpkins - $75! Regular sized pumpkins were regular priced of course.

So many farm stands like these line Hershberger's! Apparently, purple Cauliflower is very good for you. We passed on it this time around, but maybe we will pick some up next time!

We got quite a bit inside the bakery. It would be hard for anyone not to buy something here! We brought a cooler from home so that we could purchase refrigerated items and enjoy them when we returned home. I would highly recommend doing this. Bags of ice can be found at some of the shops. We picked up salsa, beef jerky, gummies, and fry pies among many other items.

For a few bucks you can feed dozens of farm animals. Make sure you bring cash with you. Most places in Amish Country don't take credit. The animals were so cute! Above is a picture of Big Ben who is by far the largest horse I've ever seen! So much fun!

Hershberger's was a great stop and exceeded our expectations. I would give
